Careccia Ca$h
We believe students who exhibit fabulous behavior should be acknowledged. Therefore, students who are accountable, responsible, and respectful can earn Careccia Ca$h! Each child will be provided with a "wallet" (plastic bag) for which they will hold their Careccia Cash. Every month we will have "Cooper's Class Store" where the students can purchase prizes with their hard-earned Careccia Cash. This program will allow students the valuable practice of trading in bills, making change, budgeting their money, and keeping their money safe. The students are in charge of their own money-- if they lose their wallets or money we will not reimburse them. As model sixth graders of J.H.S. 144, our students are expected to be responsible for their belongings and be held accountable for their actions and choices.
As discussed in class, students who have their homework, come prepared to class, are wearing their uniform, are following directions, paying attention, are focused and on task, raising their hands, working quietly, participate in group work, and are abiding by our classroom and school rules can earn cash!
